More than 20 homes and hundreds of acres have burned in what authorities are calling the Coastal Fire. The Coastal Fire broke out before 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 11th near the South Orange County Wastewater Authority's Coastal Treatment Plant, which handles sewage for the Laguna Beach area. Thousands of people have been evacuated, and firefighters are still desperately trying to contain the fire's spread.

This seems to be another in a long series of cataclysmic fires that have been caused by public utilities companies, and if you have been effected by their actions you deserve compensation.
