Were You or A Loved One Affected By The Silverado Fire?
At 7 AM Monday, October 26th, a fire started near Santiago Canyon and Silverado Canyon roads and, fanned by strong winds, quickly grew to engulf thousands of acres in a few short hours. This fire started in close proximity to a Southern California Edison high voltage transmission line similar to those lines that have started many fires throughout California. In a statement released by SoCal Edison on the day of the fire "it appears a lashing wire that was attached to an underbuilt telecommunications line may have contacted SCE's overhead primary conductor which may have resulted in the ignition of the fire"
It is the belief of Kazerouni Law Group, APC, that the Silverado Fire was caused by power lines owned and operated by SoCal Edison, and that they should be held liable for their negligence.
If you suffered damages as a result of the Silverado Fire, you may be entitled to pursue a claim against PG&E for compensation. Claims include personal injury, property damage, business losses, and wrongful death.
Southern California operates a high voltage transmission line close to the ignition point of the fire, and some evidence suggests the utility company may be responsible for sparking the blaze.
